LET'S TALK POLITICS!
St. Petersburg, FL - On Saturday, July 31, 2010, the Pinellas Point Democratic Club will host
a discussion of politics with an emphasis on Florida politics. The goal of this event is to help
attendees become more informed citizens and have a more engaged and effective understanding
of today's Florida politics.
The program speaker will be Tony Brunello a Professor of Political Science at Eckerd College.
Dr. Brunello's research and teaching emphasizes cross-national and systems analysis in
relationship to political systems, party systems, political ideologies, and political theory. He has
received the John M. Bevan Teaching Excellence and Campus Leadership Award.
This event is free to the public and will be held from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the city of St.
Petersburg's South Branch Library located at 2300 Roy Hanna Drive South. Seating is limited
and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
