Greater Pinellas Democratic Club Meeting Recurring Event

Event Location: Banquet Masters--8100 Park Blvd., Pinellas Park

Event Description:

Social hour begins at 6:00 PM.

Looking Ahead in 2012 addressing the concerns of the community, Pinellas county and the country.

Guest speakers will be:  Bob Lasala, Pinellas County Administrator and Reverend Charles McKenzie, Florida Coordinator for the Rainbow/PUSH coalition.

Bob will give an update on the county and it's ability to provide services for its citizens.  Financial constraits have made the county look at how it provides services.  He will also discuss the role of administrator.

Charles will be discussing the fact that Jim Crow still exists.  We can see it with Governor Scott's attempt to limit voting in the upcoming election.
