Our guest speaker will be Wendi Grassi who is retiring as Director of Public Affairs for Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida. Wendi has always been a proponent of progressive causes and women's issues. Even though Wendi is retiring, she will still be supportive of women and democratic values. DEC Monthly Meeting

Please join us for the monthly DEC meeting. Our meeting speakers will be discussing the importance of public education as a Democratic value and why it's important for the county to have a strong public education system. Dr. Bill Heller will be our speaker along with LInda Lerner, School Board member and Kim Black, Pinellas County Classroom Association President. Please invite teachers and anyone who participates in public education to our meeting. We need to thank our teachers for what they do for our kids and what they've done for all of us who have benefited from a public school education from kindergarten through college.
