Looking Ahead in 2012 addressing the concerns of the community, Pinellas county and the country.

Guest speakers will be Rick Kriseman and Alison Morano.  Rick who has chosen not to run again for his House seat has been a strong representative who has great insight into what is happening in Tallahassee.   Alison is Vice Chair of th Florida Democrtic Party and has also served as Chair of the Pasco Democratic Executive Commitee.  Her background is Public Relations.

This is a fun night out for all of us who are also Rays fans.  For a grand slam time, meet up at the DEC HDQ for some fine wine and cheese and then head out to the game.  The Rays are playing the Cleveland Indians.  The tickets are press level tickets in Section 209 between home and third base.  The tickets are $25.00 and we have a limited number of tickets available.  If you wish to attend, contact Ramsay McLauchlan ramsay@mclauchlan.us who has the tickets.  Checks need to be made to the PCDEC.

There will be a message on the screen welcoming us to the game.  So if it's televised and you don't attend, look for your DEC friends and the message.

Tickets are going fast!  Carpooling at the DEC HDQ will help for those who don't want to drive to the Trop.

Pinellas Hispanic Caucus 

Event Location: Sentinel Building--300 S. Duncan Avenue, Clearwater

Please join our newest Caucus as it promotes Democratic ideals.

This should be the biggest debate yet. The event is at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 2470 Nursery Rd. in Clearwater. The event is being moderated by Al Ruechel from Bay News 9. It is anticipate to be televised as well, but better to witness the event in person!

Scott Swope needs as much support on this one as we can give him. Please mark your calendars and try to attend.
