Affordable Health Care--Getting to know what it really means!

 Darden Rice is educating Americans about the Affordable Health Care Act, the cornerstone of the Obama administration.  The Act is already benefiting millions of Americans and will benefit millions more as additional provisions are added.  Darden is working with Progress Florida to explain the Act.

Along with Darden will be Michelle Cyr, Tampa Bay Field Coordinator of AARP who will speak on AARP's role and Cheryl Schroeder, Executive Director, AFL-CIO Central Labor Council, will discuss the role of unions in the upcoming election.

Alan Grayson will be our keynote spearker along with Rod Smith, Chair, Florida Democratic Party.  We will be honoring our local elected Democratic officials who serve us.  Tickets will be $75 per person.  It will be a sit-down dinner with the choice of beef, fish or vegetarian.

Hope you've purchased tickets and are on the list to attend.  Any folks who show up Saturday night who have not paid will be turned away as the event is sold out.
