WMNF Community Radio presents OUTRAGE!

Event Description:
WMNF Community Radio wmnf.org proudly presents the Tampa Bay Premier of the nationally acclaimed first run documentary OUTRAGE! This Premier is currently scheduled for one showing at Tampa Pitcher Show, 14416 N. Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa on Wednesday, July 15th at 7 P.M. Doors open at 6 with full menu and bar service available. More shows may be added by popular demand. Tickets are $8 adv., $10 at door, and will benefit WMNF. Tickets or more information can be obtained at 813-238-8001 or wmnf.org.

Tarpon Springs Democrats Monthly Meeting

Guest speakers Gregory Rolle and Pat Weber will be addressing the topic "Homeless: How it happens and part of the answer." Gregory Rolle will share a unique perspective on being homeless. Pat Weber is the Executive Director of the Tarpon Springs Housing Authority.
How does one become homeless? Even a person with a college education? What are the plans for new public housing in Tarpon Springs? Tarpon Springs has a reputation as a leader in local public housing and is serving as a model. Come, learn the facts. Bring a friend. We have informally offered rides in the past. But, the GTSDC Executive Board has decided to offer rides to any GTSDC member who needs transportation to and from the meetings.
