It can't be cheap, being married to the woman Marco Rubio described as ``the First Lady of the Florida House of Representatives.''

Yet poor Marco has been harangued for charging the Florida Republican Party for his $134 haircut. As if the husband of the very first lady of the House of Representatives could slouch into town with a $14 trim from Supercuts.

Marco Rubio was hardly indulging in a luxurious haircut just for the sake of looking pretty. He was looking pretty for the party, so he could dazzle corporate bigs, lobbyists and other fat donors.

Why shouldn't the state Republican Party pay for a $134 haircut and $93,332 in various other expenses Marco ran up on the state party credit card in his official capacity as husband of the first lady of the Florida House?
